Outside your door theres a world with people awaiting you. Open arms pointed guns. Smiles that are real and not. Theres a train at a station awaiting your arrival. Theres rain that wont fall, not for today just for a little while.
Where do you wanna go? Where do you wanna be? And why cant you stay here with me? Why do you have to go? There are leaves falling slowly, they make a path brown and golden. Heres a photograph I will take, to forever remember this place.
The air is cold. The sun is bright. Our names carried away in this above average winter day.
Yes its there but you look too deep. Step back and look at the master piece, it seems just perfect to me. Its around the edges, its a work in progress. Its nostalgia at its best.
The air is warm. The stars are bright. Our names they take their flight in this above average summer night.
